Last Wednesday (8th of March) was International Women’s Day. As the title has stated, I will be talking about the women who have inspired me to be a better me.
There are seven women that I want to talk about that have come into my life and helped me grow as person into someone who I’m proud. Out of these seven women, four of them are either YouTubers, Bloggers, and Actress who I enjoy their views of the world and the other three are women in my family that I enjoy being around and looking up to. The order of each I put this women in doesn’t make them any less important to me.
She is an actress and is know for the role of Claire Beauchamp Randell Fraser in the TV-Adapation of Outlander. I recently spent a few seconds with her and fun fact, realized that she is slightly taller than me! Outside of her acting job, she is very passionate about Women’s Rights and everyone having equality. And on her social media, she isn’t afraid to post about it. She is supporter and I admire her for that.
In the world of One Direction, she is the sister of Harry Styles. But to me, that is just a part of who she is. From the world of Social Media, she is just as passionate about Women’s Rights. She writes blog posts about different topics and ideas. She and a few others have inspired me to start a blog and write. And in the future, I would like to have a conversation about anything and everything and about her cat because cats are awesome!
Zoella, as she is more commonly known, is a YouTuber and Blogger. Her content is a mixture of beauty, lifestyle, and food. She has released her own beauty line, lifestyle line, and three novels and I feel like that only touches the surface of who she is. The reason I look up to her and how she inspires me, is simply that she enjoys life and tries to stop caring about how other people think about her. One of my favourite sayings she has said is that “if I want to my vlog to be half-an-hour long, then it will be half-an-hour long.”
Carrie Hope Fletcher
She is a YouTuber, Actress, and Disney Lover! I also can’t forget to say that she is also an author as well. I don’t remember how I found her channel but once I did, I never unsubscribed. When her first book, All I Know Now, came out, I was just getting into my adult years but that book was still helpful. She, as well as Zoe, have helped, and are still helping me, get over the idea of not caring what other people think about me. That I should live my life the way I want to. Also I would love to talk about Disney with her.
My family is filled with women on both sides and my aunt Mandy is one of the top. For having three nieces, she is passionate about Women Rights and making sure we understand the world around us. She isn’t afraid to have a conversation about anything. I enjoy spending time with her, either going on a day trip to the Beach or just sitting around in front of the TV watching Grace & Frankie. She is someone I can turn to if I need someone.
I don’t know what I would do without her! She is a warrior. And I admire for upbeat attitude and never feeling down even with facing challenges in life. That inspires me to never let something drag me down and to fight. And in the last couple of months, I have realized the impact I have made on her life and the thing is, I had to learn it from someone. Life would be a lot different if my aunt Mollie wasn’t here. I’m very happy that she is a fighter!
This woman is amazing because she has been there since the beginning and she is always inspiring me to be different and not let the world around me keep me in a box. I’m a mother’s girl and proud to be one. I know that I can call her up (almost) whenever and have a random conversation with her. She is a great person to talk to about anything and everything. And yes, sometimes we annoy each other, but I don’t mind because she is still there. I couldn’t think of a better person who has pushed me into what I am today.
Every women in the world is important in some way. And this list is a small group of amazing women that have helped me become the way I am today.
Thank you to all the amazing women out there! You are strong and beautiful!
Lots of Love,
